If you are looking for a very good story book then you just found one. There is no need to search anymore. “The Book of Lost Tales” mainly deals with the history. But the stories in this book are very much different from the book known as “The Silmarillion”. This book also discusses the history and in a very detailed and the very much explained manner. As this book deals with the history of the elves and the different elf-races, But it deals with them in a unique manner. The naming scheme of the book is quite unique as well. As it keeps changing as the time passes. As the author of the book is having a bad habit of changing the names.
The main and the basic story of the book tells us about a person, traveling to the Tol Eressëa. He travels in order to learn the history of the inhabitants.
