The novel is first person narrative of Jane Eyre. It has 5 parts of Jane’s life. Her childhood at Gateshead Hall where her aunt and cousins abuse her. Her education at Lowood School where she faces oppression but also gains friends and role models. Job as governess at Thornfield Hall where she falls in love with Mr. Edward Rochester. Her time with Rivers family where her cousin proposes her for marriage. And in the end, her marriage to Rochester at last. The whole novel is divided into 38 chapters.
