We make many of our opinions just by hearing one side of the story. The same is true for Twilight as well since we have a certain point of view made after we heard the story from Bella Swan. It was quite clever of author Stephenie Meyer to retell the story, however, this time from Edward Cullen’s viewpoint. This reason alone is enough to get any fan of the novel to get this book.
In the original Twilight, the story has a soft beginning where we see Bella’s life in college. However, this time, the setting is a lot different because Edward’s world is new and dark. As a vampire, he hasn’t seen much bloom in his life. So meeting Bella Swan is one of the very few pleasant experiences of his life. Though he has no idea that now his life is about to be changed forever.
Midnight Sun will be the only retelling of any of the books from the Twilight series. Stephenie Meyer has already sold the movie rights for a movie adaptation. The actor Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Edward Cullen in the movie. Midnight Sun has a Goodreads user score of 3.75 out of 5.
