Billy’s dream is to buy a minibike and since he cannot afford it, he ends up making the biggest bet on his life. Guessing what was that bet? Let us get to that now.
Well, How to Eat Fried Worms brings us the story of a few teenagers including Billy and Alan. Alan places a bet with Billy on eating 15 worms in fifteen days. If Billy wins it, he will be rewarded 40 dollars and since he desperately needs money, he takes the bet. However, since he is about to do a disgusting thing, he improvises a way to make the process easier for himself.
What he does is prepare a paste of mustard, salt, pepper, and ketchup so when he mixes the worms in it, it becomes easier to eat. And, when he finally starts doing that, he finds out that in actuality, the worms are juicy and fun to eat. However, when Alan sees Billy enjoying this stuff, he starts making plans to put Billy off the bet so that he doesn’t have to give him the money.
